Since the beginning of our activities in Tanzania, we have been supporting a large number of children and adolescents in order to enable them to attend school or kindergarten. A sensible education, like in every country, forms the basis for a self-determined life. Especially in Tanzania, where almost half of all inhabitants are fourteen years or younger, the promotion of school education is essential and one of our two main objectives.
Together with the Rotary Club Vogtland Schloss Voigtsberg, since the beginning of 2017 another 10 children from poor families could be allowed to attend school.
In the future it is planned to establish a direct reference of donors in Germany to the supporting children in Tanzania via sponsorships.
