One of our first projects was the organization of the treatment of Benny and Jenni. The two siblings, like their father, came to the world with so-called klump feet. The feet are imphysiologically turned inwards from birth. If no treatment takes place, you will be spoilt for the rest of your life. Fortunately, we were able to make contact with an experienced German children's Orthopädin, Dr. Schraml, and her organization fire children, who have been operating for decades in Tanzania with klump feet and fire injuries.
After several surgeries and months of pre-and post-treatment with plasters, Benny and Jenni's treatment are now complete and the two can march against a self-determined life almost without restrictions. Of course, it did not take long for other families with affected children to come to us, and in the future we will try to organize a treatment for many other children with klump feet.
